At present, it averages more than 200,000 guests who come visit in a year. It was hand constructed by Roger Tofte patiently over seven long years in the later part of the 1960s.
It opened to visitors in 1971. The Tofte family still operates and owns this 20 acre park and three generations of them still administers the amusement park in various capacities.
Attractions in The Enchanted Forest Theme Park include Storybook Lane, the Old European Village and the Tofteville Western Town. During the summer, it also has a Summer Comedy Theater feature which shows original musical plays which are based on classic fairy tales which we loved as kids. They are written by Susan Vaslev.
